I couldn't be happier about the hues of Red and Pink that our talented teamie Sheri picked for us at Color Hues #80! It's the perfect pairing for me to premier these new-to-me Postal Collage products from Waffle Flower Crafts! I really got creative with this one!
I began by die cutting the entire postal image. With the first stencil, I sponged Spun Sugar as a light background in each square. I continued for each stamp to add details and shading with inks in Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick and Barn Red.
I mixed and matched the stencils I used on this card to create my own theme. This was incredibly fun!
Last, I stamped the airmail theme images in black. I even got a stray bit of ink, but decided it was just the way some of my mail looks when it arrives, so I can "pretend" it got there on purpose. Adding the sentiment on the black strip (from Hero Arts) seemed to tie this together as a focal point and a place for the eye to settle in this happy jumble of colors!
I'm sure you will want to join us and play along with this challenge, so give it a go. Can't wait to see what you create.

I absolutely LOVE your postage card!!! Love how you used all the WF elements, plus the Hero Arts sentiment! I used the same WF products and my card posted today on JUGS. You should post your card in our gallery as we are Red and Pink this week! Great minds think alike, right?
Love the postal style collage Cindy, a perfect way to showcase this ne colour duo. :)
I love every perfect little detail you added to this delightful card! I see Carol already mentioned it, but you should add this to our JUGs gallery, Cindy!
Whenever I see these WF sets around I just want them even more. Cindy, You are making it really hard to resist with this beauty!
I fell victim to these postage collage dies and stencils too Cindy...they are quite addictive, aren't they?! You've done a fabulous job using the pinks and reds for this one too and your postage marks look very real to me! Sweet, sweet card my friend and perfect for any celebration! Hugs. :0)
This looks fantastic, Cindy! I sure know what you mean about it being incredibly fun. A person can really get hooked on creative designs like this. I love every bit of it -- all the stencil designs, the ink blend, the postage stamps. The sentiment couldn't be more perfect and really pulls it all together. I looked for your stray bit of ink but could not find it. I only saw a whole lot of fabulousness!
Crushing over and smitten with your fabulous postage collage card. I agree 110%: these stencils + dies are so much fun and are definitely addictive. I have the roses on order and the newest *Luck-themed* one is on my must-have-list. Need to bring mine out for a play after seeing your awesome make here!

Cindy, you've showcased this stencil and die set so beautifully! I especially love the hands holding the heart and how you stamped all the different cancelation images. What fun to play with and I think your choices of stamps is a favorite of those I've seen. Love this to pieces!
Cindy I have yet to enter the world of the WF postage stamps but I see you have. What an absolutely fabulous card you made for the red & pink challenge. It looks so amazing I keep investigating it. Are you going to be the one who convinces me to dive in and buy it?
Love this die - I keep seeing it everywhere. A great card.
