Just A Note

Hello. friends!
It's amazing how crafting takes twists and turns. My beginning idea of a simple card with an older stamp set evolved into a project using a variety of supplies and techniques. Here's my second card using Sketch Ranunculus from SSS.

I absolutely loved stamping the cluster of flowers and greens for the focal point and assembling them on the beautiful oval cut with the Shape Shifter's Oval 2 Die from Papertrey Ink.
Again, I embossed the large flowers in white and colored them with Zigs.
Playing along with the challenge below, I added an embossed woodgrain panel that gives a warm rustic look, and a banner sentiment as in the photo.

I'm also playing along with Laurie's Favorite Challenge at the Ink to Paper blog.   Pink and Green with a hint of Violet  are my current summer favorites.

Thanks for joining me today!
