Holiday Cheer

Hello, it's Monday, here we go again! Ready for another week?  I can't believe our US Thanksgiving holiday is next week and on it's heels will come the fast slide into Christmas.

I'm feeling more in the Christmas spirit now that I'm getting a few cards made. Today's card again features the Enchanted Forest stamp set (See it here on THIS post).

I really enjoyed inking up the whimsical trees in traditional colors. I used 5 different green inks, ha! The sentiments and dies are from The Greetery, called Basic Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set. I really love using the Sentiment Suite stamps that fit into the Sentiment Suite Basics Dies and each sentiment set covers a different theme or occasion.

I'm happy to be sharing today and wishing you a wonderful week! Thanks for spending your time here with me for a little while. I'll be sharing another card made with these stamps soon. I could not put this set away!

Enchanted Forest Christmas Wishes

It's rainy and cold here today. I'm cozy and Christmas card-making is now in full swing. Beginning with stamps I just loved last year but didn't get in time to use for Christmas, I used images from The Enchanted Forest set designed by Betsy Veldman.

I stamped the trees in shades of teal, apple green and purple and arranged them on a pinked edge die cut panel.
The snowflakes were stamped and I added glittered drops to the centers. I love this metallic paper but it doesn't show up well in the photo. Subtle beautiful shine and it is a lighter shade IRL.

I'm using the gorgeous colors from the Color challenge at The Paper Players. Thanks so much for joining me today!

Joy And Peace The Greetery

Good morning!
I'm here with a Christmas card to share using the oh-so versatile and lovely With Love at Christmas set from The Greetery.

Since yesterday I have found renewed energy to tackle my Christmas cards and a new plan.  I have a list of stamp sets to use, and quite a few sketches that I like. I'm not going to think about it too much, just go down the list. I've also decided to keep them more simple, like today's card.

I've listed my supplies below. I am playing along at Freshly Made Sketches today. Kim has a wonderful sketch! Gold foil die cut leaves and glitter add bling without bulk.

I've set aside the next couple of days and instead of waiting until afternoon when all my chores are done to craft, I am going to be stamping in my craft room first thing in the morning with my hot cup of tea.

Thanks for your visit and encouragement!

Tis the Season

It seems tis the season when I need more get well cards in my stash. Many ailments going round in my community of friends so I'd better be ready!

I created a simple card today using the Feel Better stamps and Die-namics from MFT and the sketch from CAS(E) This.

I loved the topsy turvy stripes so I chose striped paper and stamped images colored with Copics.

Fortunately I am feeling very well. But my stamping mojo has been under the weather. I keep spending time in the craft room and coming out with nothing accomplished. Or having bits of images but none I feel inspired to make a card with. Lack of supplies is definitely NOT the problem, ha! I hoped a challenge and keeping it simple would help me beat the slump.

It's the time of year when I usually have most of my Christmas cards done. So far I have made ONE. Hope I can kick in some constructive creativity soon!

Thanks for listening. Anybody in the same boat with Christmas cards?  I sure enjoyed your visit today.

Sing Along for Christmas Mice

Good morning to my stamping friends! I hope you are having a glorious day so far.
I'm jumping right in with a card made for the new Retro Rubber Challenge. The theme of Anything Goes leaves it wide open for you to play along and I hope you will!

This adorable creature is part of the Merry Mice stamp set (SU!) that came out a few years ago. I got it two years ago and had not inked it up yet! I think critters are so cute but in my busy-ness creating the traditional and religious themes for Christmas cards that I send, the whimsical and cute images often get left out.

And this caroler is CU-Ute! Colored in Copics he's framed by a window, and surrounded by stenciled snow flurries on a blended background.

I love challenges that help me use or try something new. Thanks for taking a peek today. Hope you've been inspired!

Happy Mail With Love from The Greetery

Hi to my stamping friends! Hope your day is going well. I'm enjoying the sunshine and very cool temps we're having today by spending some time in the stamp studio.

You know how every once in a while you begin with a small idea for a card and as you make it the process unfolds into a result you really like? That's what happened today.

Betsy has done it again with her designs at The Greetery! With Love at Christmas stamps are designed for Christmas stationery. With a change of colors this set is perfect for any season. And who doesn't love happy mail? I adhered the little envie to the card front so that it can be removed and used again added to a gift bag or a lunchbox.

I thank Color Throwdown for the great combo featured this week. Check out the fabulous DT samples as well!

I stamped with PTI inks and added details to the images with colored pencils and a white gel pen. Hope you have a great day, I am happy that you came by.

Vintage Birthday

Hi there!
I wondered whether to title this Vintage Birthday? Masculine Birthday? or Old -Timer Birthday? Ha! It really is all three.

I'm glad to have it ready and made in a jiffy using the vintage papers from Graphic 45. They are vintage style and they've been on my shelves for a LONG time too.
I paired them with a sentiment and a sketch.
The Freshly Made designers come up with the best sketches!

The stamps are Autumn Leaves from WPLus9 and Papertrey's Just A Number set. I embossed the numbers in gold, but that doesn't quite show up in the photo. I bought the set for just this kind of card, where the numbers are needed to highlight the special number of years of the occasion.

Hope you've enjoyed coming by today. Thanks for stopping by.
