Color Hues #84 Peach and Green

Welcome to April 1, a new challenge for card makers at Color Hues! I'm excited to be the hostess this month and I've chosen Peach and Green for our new combo. Concord and 9th products are featured in my card, as I was utterly inspired by their Cottage Garden supplies. I bought the bundle. Are you surprised?

When I saw the Garden Party Patterned Paper Pack I knew right away that those were the colors I loved for my challenge! I layered some paper strips, stamped the sentiment and hash marks in Grapefruit Ink, and added the die cut flower for a simple card. I happen to just love these colors!

I hope they will inspire you as you create. Something for spring or Summer, or a birthday? I can't wait to see!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. March was keeping me busy with things other than crafting. More about that soon. I'm happy to be back!

Be yourself

          Have delight in your craft

               Make something beautiful!

Cindy, great decision to purchase the bundle - and your showcase is nothing short of beautiful! Your flower is so sweet as the little star of the stage. I second Marcia: fabulous colour combination!

A perfect card for a spring birthday, so fresh looking. A great colour choice for this time of year too. :)

I love that patterned paper was the inspiration for these colors--which I loved, as well. Your card is wonderful--I love the combination of the diagonal strips of patterned paper and the lovely tulip. A great combination to celebrate your wonderful Peach and Green challenge!

What a beautiful card Cindy. So many small details that take your design over the top. The subtle grid stenciling behind the tulip if beilliant! I'm really smitted with the colours you chose this challenge. xo

You've really showcased these colors beautifully, Cindy! I love the modern look of your card - the stamped hash mark and the diagonal paper strips - adding the black and white makes it all really pop! And that tulip, it's a beauty. Fabulous card and thank you for a great color combo!
