The Paper Players: What a wonderful year!

Hello and welcome to my blog today. It's Sunday and I'm here with the last challenge of the year for The Paper Players #621. It's a moment of sadness as my year as guest designer has come to an end. I am so so appreciative of the chance to create with the lovely and super talented ladies on this fabulous team.  I will continue to be inspired by you all and will play along often. Your challenges are the best out there!

Delightfully Ann has chosen a color combo for us this week. I pulled out a die that's new to me but it's been around awhile.

I came as close as I could with the colors, using some retired papers and vanilla card stock for the mug.  I love the bit of holly and added Crystal drops for a bit of texture.

I hope you will enjoy checking out the DT samples as they are so creative and fun!

Be yourself

          Have delight in your craft

               Make something beautiful!

I have wanted to by this die set forever and now you made this really cute card and I am tempted yet again!!! I love all of your details like that teeny tag with its tin sentiment...so cute! The crystal drops are the berries, right? I need to get some! Darling card Cindy!

I'm so glad you liked seeing this die, Carol. I am glad that I bought it! I see it being used throughout the year. Yes, I used the gloss on the berries to give them roundness and sparkle.

Oh, Cindy! This polka dotted mug is adorable. Who wouldn't love to drink hot chocolate from it, especially when embellished with a gingerbread man and a candy cane. What a wonderful card for this challenge! Designing beside you this year brought back memories of our Dirty Dozen days. I will definitely miss you and your inspiring cards. May you and your family have a blessed holiday season. Hugs...

What a cute cocoa mug! It looks like a fun die set and I love how you've touched it up with the shading on the whipped cream and gloss on the berries. You've been amazing on the Paper Players team, Cindy. A year is a nice long stretch for a guest designer!

Such a fabulous card, Cindy, I love the big mug! The patterned papers coordinate so well together too and great job shading the cream on the hot chocolate--when I try to do that it comes out looking dirty :p It was a pleasure to guest design along with you this year for the Paper Players!
