Where have I been, you wonder? SCOTLAND!

Hi stamping friends, I have a card to share today, but first a bit of news and a few pictures!

I usually enjoy posting two or three or four times a week, but got slowed down because we had a fabulous trip to Scotland! There was the  excitement of planning - we decided to go and three weeks later we were on the plane. And preparing. Then the two wonderful weeks we had there. We call it our trip of a lifetime! And the miserable and ongoing stint with Covid my dear man came down with after we got home. Sigh.

Let's have a look at a few glorious memories.

We saw beautiful scenery of nature, pastures sheep, the hairy coo, lakes, waterfalls and the ocean. Oh, 5 rainbows. And beautiful Edinburgh.
So a card, you said?  Creativity is hard to get back into after so much time away.  I made my card using new-to-me supplies, featuring the Jumbo Buckeye Leaf from The Greetery.

I  sponged it using Oxide inks and added a few marker details. Using smaller images from Curio:Autumn Findings dies I assembled my focal point, adding the sentiment from the Autumn Bliss Stamps & Cut Combo. My background panel was stamped with a Penny Black stamp using WPlus9 inks.

I'm entering this at NBUS and glad to be jumping back to stamping just for fall. Hope your day is wonderful!

Beautiful Scotland! Thank you so much for sharing these few pics, Cindy. I know it must have been wonderful. Love that you included the hairy coo, ha! I'm sorry your hubby is paying the price with COVID. I hope he recovers fully soon. Also, thank you for taking the time to share a gorgeous card today as well. I have had my eye on that PB background since it was released. It's a perfect pairing with your leaves and acorns.

First, I'm so sorry Mr. Beach is struggling with Covid. I guess it's good that it was after he got home and not when you landed in Scotland. I'm looking for a positive, but it's hard! I hope he is fully recovered now - or soon.

LOVE your autumn card! It's really a perfect reflection and it's clear you lost none of your talent during your break! Thank you for sharing the amazing photos. I'm so impressed that you took this spontaneous trip! Thank you, too, for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell p.s. (Another thank you for your lovely comment today. You made my day!!)

So sorry your husband is sick with Covid, hope he feels better soon. The good thing is that it happened after you got home and not while on your trip. Thanks for sharing the photos! It looks and sounds wonderful, Cindy. Pretty fall card, love that big leaf! I'm still not getting your blog posts via email ~ grrr.

A lovely fall card. I think it’s always difficult to get crafting again after a holiday. I’m glad you enjoyed Scotland, it has a special place in my heart as I’m half Scots! Thank you for sharing at NBUS.

I've been wondering about your trip to Scotland, and so glad to see your photos--most of which I recognized from our trip in August. So glad it was all you hope it would be, and so sorry that Covid hit your husband when you returned! Your card is beautiful! I'm off to see if I can get a slew of fall cards made for lots of birthday that happen in November. Thanks for the inspiration!
