Just for Fun Friday

It's World Card Making Day, will you be getting crafty? A big YES for me, but the weather is gorgeous, so I will be getting outside after I write this post.

Happy to share a card I made last evening. All my cards for the design deadlines are made early in the week, so I pulled out some supplies I've been wanting to use and enjoyed stamping just for fun. And since it is October, I can enjoy making Christmas cards!

I decided to simplify designs for some of the cards I will send this year. Truthfully - I couldn't resist the new product collection from Penny Black called Masterpieces Made Simple. They feature a variety of pre-printed panels that measure 3.25" x 4.5". The linen card stock is excellent quality and the scenes are gorgeous!

I used the Icy Winds pack that includes 4 scenes, one of each design, plus the Berries Die and Touched by Peace stamp set, all of which are new to me. I can't wait to design elegant clean cards for mailing since I bought all the photo packs.

My first share this month at NBUS (the wonderful blog by Darnell) featuring Never-Been-Used-Stuff.

I was inspired by this wonderful Freshly Made sketch. I really like this one, hope to use it again! Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today.

Good heavens, Cindy, this card is beautiful, serene, and just a touch of dimension to take it over the top. I cannot get over those beautiful panels. It would be so hard to cut them!
