Hi there!
It's a special kind of sharing on my blog today! You know we stampers love to play in challenges and sometimes in person. One of my favorite blog friends is Michele at I Card Everyone. I so admire her ability to design fabulous cards and then present them with her bit of wit and good humor!
Today I'm part of her series called Playing with Friends. She is such a fun friend to have, and gives much sweetness with her blog and many comments of encouragement to others.
We each create using the same supplies or, in this case a theme. BEACH! It is National World Oceans Day, so we are creating projects around oceans or things to do at the beach. Of course I went with the beach theme, since that is my last name! That certainly makes me qualified, you think?
I have loved the Hello Bluebird stamps Seaside Girls set and I decided this was a good occasion to (order) and use it. I colored these friends with Copics and used the Ocean Scene die to create a beach scene. Brand new supplies to me. Inking each panel, I added dots and splatters as needed and assembled them on the card. The middle layer of the ocean is popped up for dimension.
The sky was lightly inked and stamped with my message for Michele: I'm so lucky to have a friend like you! That message is for you too, dear readers.
I love collecting shells at the beach. It's my favorite thing to do! I can't wait to see which way the waves took Michele for her project, please join me in checking it out HERE.
I will be linking at NBUS and at The Paper Players Summer Theme Challenge.
Wishing you a day filled with sunshine and smiles.

Oh my goodness! Cindy, these two look like they are having such fun - I especially love this little lass lifting her dress so she doesn't get it wet! Loving the sand, and that wave - how fun is that?
I'm the lucky one, my friend - thank you - there couldn't be a more perfect friend to play cards with at the BEACH! xo

Cindy so fun that you got to have a play date with Michele. She is one of most favourite people! Your card is so super sweet. I am ready for the beach!
I'm visiting from Michele's blog. YOur beach scene is delightful and sweet. Sure wish I was there. Lovely card.
A day at the beach with Cindy Beach... what could be more fun! Your card is absolutely adorable. Love the clouds, the water, the sand, those cute little girls and the seagull! DELIGHTFUL card!
What cute stamps and dies! Love the scene. It's so sweet that the seagull is collecting with them. Just adorable!
So sweet!
Beautiful coloring, Cindy, and I love the dimension of the waves! Looks like they're finding some good shells!
Who doesn't LOVE Hello Bluebird images, and how perfect is this set you used for your challenge with Michele??!! You've colored this sweet little scene so beautifully Cindy, and reminds me of younger days spent at the beach when I was growing up and then later when our 3 girls were growing up (I'm lucky enough to only live about an hour away from Lake Michigan). No sea shells at Lake Michigan, but I can imagine from your card how fun it must be to find those little treasures! Sweet, sweet card Cindy!! :0)
You have this beach thing down pat my friend! Your girls are adorable and the scene is perfect! Oh if we could just get together and beach it for real that would be fun! Sweet sweet card!
Absolutely adorable, Cindy! Nothing screams summer like a day at the beach, and these two cuties are certainly enjoying themselves. I love the scene you have created! I am so happy you played in my Signs of Summer challenge at The Paper Players this week!
Wow, Cindy! What a beautiful and fun beach card. These two remind me of my sister and I when we were young spending time at the beach. A perfect match to our Summer Theme at the Paper Players. Thank you for joining us this week.
I have checked out those Hello Bluebird stamps several times but never "dove in" to get any! However, that ocean die may be calling my name! It is so unique! Your little bathing beauties are so cute, and I am glad you & Michele had time to "play" together creating and playing with your crafty goodies! This little scene is just delightful! Thanks for playing with our theme challenge at the Players this week!
