Snowy Day Joy

Hi there, glad you're here!
I have an intention of making my cards for Christmas 2020 throughout the year. In addition to making them ahead of the time crunch, I want to finish the inside of every card as I make it. A big goal? Yes, one of many I've been making lately!

This card all started with the Snowy Day Remix papers. I got a few sheets in a card kit years ago, and loved them so much I jumped at the chance to purchase a pack when they were released again recently.

Using the sheet music paper required a sentiment having to do with a song. I got carried away from there and used the sketch provided by Christmas Card Throwdown.

and the lovely inspiration photo from Time Out Challenges

I love the tiny hearts on these papers! The Joy die cut has shine from red foil paper. The message on the inside reads, "May the miracle of Christmas fill your heart with joy."
Also joining The Paper Players challenge. My something new: both stamp sets and die, and my first NEW card for my Christmas 2020 stash.

The supplies are listed below. Enjoy your day!

What a pretty and festive take on the challenges, Cindy! I just want to burst into Joy to the World! I love everything about your design and I wish you luck with your resolution about 2020 Christmas cards. I should take a page from your book, especially the part about doing the insides, too! It would keep the job from becoming tedious when I'm in a rush at the end of the year!! Hugs, Darnell

Oh a really good goal to have and hope you get it done. I love this design and do like the little hearts on the paper that match our photo. Great idea to have the gloss on the 'Joy' to also match the photo-love it inspired you. Thanks for joining Time Out

Such a fun card, love the mix of elements! I too, have started totally finishing out my cards when I complete them. Far too often, I would grab a card to send and would find the inside was not finished! Now, I make sure they are totally finished and ready to send before I call them done! Now, if only I could add a coordinating envelope to each one as well! Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players!

Adorable! I love that you thought to match the sentiment to the paper. It's just one of those little things that brings a card together. Good luck with your goals. I'll be attempting the same thing. This sure is a happy and festive card!

I have that goal every year - and fail every year - which causes November/December to be extra busy!! It's really stupid given how much I like making Christmas cards. You'll have to inspire me and keep up with your goal. I love the patterns you used - just right for the "joy".
