I'm back today with a card to share that I made over the weekend.
While our hearts were filled with concern for those affected by Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, I found therapy in playing with paper and doing some coloring. The Little Dreamer set from WPlus9 had me imagining clear skies and happy days ahead and the sentiment is perfect for a hospitalized child or teen. One more card for my stash to send.
I used the coordinating dies and colored the cute images with Copic Markers, adding shimmer with a pen to their faces and to the clouds. I couldn't wait to use my Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Aquamarine for the sky, and the Lemon Sorbet for the star. I used a damp watercolor brush to swish it on the Ranger watercolor paper.
I'm playing along with Cas(E) this Sketch #238.
And guess what! My card last week was chosen as a favorite! You can find it here.
I am so honored to share this badge. I love playing with the sketches.
Thanks for joining me today!

Oh, I love the adorable scene you created! Super sweet take on the sketch!
Utterly adorable and a very creative way to use the stamps! Some little person will smile to see this just like I'm smiling right now. Great idea with the embellishment mousse. I haven't seen it used in this way before, but I sure like it!
Adorable take on the sketch! Love the soft coloring!
Your coloring is beautiful on those cute little critters! I love the background too! Such a fun card Cindy!
