Inspired By...All the Peels and many friends!

Hello crafty friends, it's a special day! It's Thursday and we have a new challenge at Inspired By! And don't you love surprises? Each member of the Design Team has invited a friend to be a guest designer and share their cards along with ours this week.

I am thrilled to have Nancy Leppek joining me today, she is a dear friend who always inspires me with her fun and beautiful cards! Welcome, Nancy!

Nancy's card is a gorgeous take from our Christmas prompt this week. I love the pops of those white berries and bow on this country style wreath.  You can find all the details on Nancy's card at her blog HERE.

For my card I went with the All the Peels theme and brought my apple stamps and dies to the game! I made a shorter version of the basket and used large white brads to add detail and dimension to the basket rim.

I will list my supplies below and keep this short. Be sure to head to the site to see all the samples and guest designers this week.

I hope you will join us and enter your own projects to the gallery.

Thanks so much for your visit today, hope you have been inspired to create!

Inspired By... Colorful Fall

Welcome back, it's time for a new challenge at Inspired By! Our weekly challenges are filled with inspiration and multiple options for your participation. I hope you will check them out and join us by adding your creation to the gallery this week!

I love our theme of Colorful Fall.  Traditional fall colors are so beautiful, but I've been noticing a trend towards purple or pinkish leaves in the paper-crafting world lately. Here's my take on that combination.

For the leaves, I used a sponge dauber to add layers of color until I was satisfied with the blend. I created a frame with kraft card stock, inking a leaf pattern with a stencil to add interest, adding all to a square card base. Here's the photo prompt for fall.

Here's another should you prefer to make a Holiday card.

I will also be joining the CAS challenge at The Paper Players
I appreciate your visit today, thanks for spending a bit of time with me.

Garden Party

Hi, glad you could come by! I made a card today for a challenge but didn't realize the linky had ended. It doesn't matter because I spent a fun hour coloring and playing just for fun.

And I came up with a cutie that I quite like!

Hope you do too.

I have quite a few cute critter stamps now, and when I saw the Hello Bluebird Pathway background I could imagine some delightful possibilities. Doing simple coloring with Copics for a fall scene, I added the die cut mouse from the Garden Party set. Incorporating plaid DSP for the layout and his little bow tie gave him a jaunty look, don't you think?  I added a few drops with Nuvo green also.

I don't know where Mr Mouse is off to, but I have a few small greetings that could be added later depending on the occasion.

And that's all for me for now! Make it a great day. I will be back tomorrow!

Peach Hello

Hi, I'm here to welcome you on a Monday afternoon to a new week! How was your weekend? I am sure ready for some good days. I love fall! I've had some very good days except for one thing. Car trouble! We have had issues with both of our cars that have been going on since April! I am all ready to be getting out and about a bit more but it seems we have had days when BOTH cars are in the shop! Due to mistakes, no fault of our own. Thank goodness we have a golf cart! I am glad that I have an indoor hobby too.

Which is why I'm here today, to share a card made with the Fresh Air stamps from The Greetery

The Fusion Challenge inspiration photo sparked my idea to use this set, since the arched window and shutters remind me of some of the photo elements. I am happy that this is a new set seeing inks (from Altenew). I combined the Brick Die and Fresh Air Window dies with some fussy cutting of the images.

This will also be entered at NBUS - you know how this makes me happy! And one more - Happy Little Stampers

I can't thank you enough for stopping by to visit today! Hugs~

All the Little Things

Good afternoon, it's Friday and I am here to share a quick post and a clean and simple card made for The Paper Players and Freshly Made Sketches challenges.

Card making is my therapy and I've needed a bit more of that than usual lately. I'm trying to remind myself that I don't have to pull out ALL the stops for every card that I make, so jumping into challenges really helps me. Plus I get to use my stuff, old and new, and that is always a good thing!

I combined the color and sketch challenges using a new set to me, The Little Things from WPlus9.  Now there's one more thank you card ready for me to mail. Also entering this at NBUS

Have a great weekend, and thank you for coming by today!

Color Hues #26 Purple and Pink

Here is my second post today, welcome! I love pink, but purple? Not a fan. Putting these two together was a tough one for me, but I know there will be amazing samples in the galleries at Color Hues

I went with patterned paper for a background, and some glitzy snowflakes. In my stash I found some purple mirror paper.

The height of my creative ideas came with coloring pearls with my Copic markers for embellishments.

I like how the card turned out, but getting a good photo was tough. What do I love? The sentiment! Inside it says, "Just like the snowflake, you are one of a kind."

Sending you warm wishes today! Thanks for visiting. Hope you will play along with our challenge.

Inspired By Hello Fall

Good morning to you! There will be two posts from me today, so let's get started! First up, at Inspired By we're back with two photo options or a sketch for you to try. My project is inspired by the Hello Fall prompt, and I decided to step it up and make a shaker card.

I was thrilled to see my friend Nancy's link to a whole sheet shaker card, including a link to a great video tutorial. What fun this was to create and I'm excited that it is fairly flat to mail. I LOVE shaker cards but don't love making them with foam tape.

Nothing says fall like bright sunflowers and a wreath, don't you think? I've had this autumn sequin mix forever, and I am glad to use some of it up. The images and die cuts are from WPlus9  Autumn Blessings set. I colored with watercolors. The wreath is adhered to the card base, and the banner is placed over the acetate layer.

I hope you will join the fun at Inspired By this week. Can't wait to see your creations!

I am joining Just Us Girls challenge to make a shaker card.  Hope you have a wonderful day, thanks for visiting!
