Welcome to The Flower Challenge! Our theme for Challenge #95 is to use a stamped flower on your card. So pull out those pretties and put some ink to paper!
I've been going for the less is more vibe lately, and Penny Black's tulips from the Overflowing clear stamp (31-062) gave me a kickstart to a clean card.
I watercolored using re-inkers from my Distress Inks. Adding TWO pearls (colored with Copic markers) seemed a good way to emphasize the "twice" in the sentiment. Am I the only one that thinks of these things?
Thanks so much for your visit today! Please come and visit us at the challenge blog where fabulous floral designs await to inspire you!
I'm adding this to these challenges: The Penny Black Saturday Challenge, and NBUS where I'm using the stamp and die for the first time. Time Out Challenges asks for cards of encouragement/friendship.

When Penny Black and your skilled watercoloring fill the card with beauty, what more do you need? This is so lovely, Cindy. The two pearls with the sentiment are one of those subtle touches that make such a difference overall. I'm eager to get back in the swing of things.
So beautiful Cindy!
CAS is good and in this case lovely too, Cindy. Great job watercoloring the tulips.
Your tulips are so beautiful and great card design showcasing the image. Happy you joined us at Time Out.
A beautiful card Cindy! Your watercoloring gives the image a charming quality and the embossed basket is perfect! Thanks for joining our friendship/support theme at Time Out Challenges!
Hugs, Kate (DT Time Out)!
What pretty tulips! Wonderful card, Cindy!
I love the purity and simplicity of your design, Cindy, but I can't call that incredibly beautiful basket of tulips as less-is-more! Wouldn't you love that on your table?! Your coloring/shading is gorgeous and I love your detail of the two pearls; I wouldn't have thought of that! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! (Sorry for the late visit.) Hugs, Darnell
p.s. Forgot to say that I see what you did there with the edge you picked for the border and how it matches the scallop of the petals! Any challenge is lucky to have you as a designer!
