Color Hues #26 Our Year Anniversary!

Hi crafting friends! I am so happy to welcome you to our latest challenge at Color Hues! It's a very very special one as we are celebrating our year anniversary. We are so excited to announce a new member to the team - welcome Tracey! We are so glad to have you. There will be prizes as well as wonderful samples, so please join us!

Karen has chosen yellow and orange for us to use. I discovered that the hues were so important with this combo. I experimented with card stock colors and patterned papers, but decided inks were the key for me.

Here's my card!

I heat embossed in white on Bristol Smooth card stock using the SSS stamps Beautiful Flowers. Blending inks in yellow and orange, I achieved an ombre look. The flower was sponged in orange ink, stamped in black and fussy cut.  I was delighted to find these gems in my stash from Pretty Pink Posh - Buttercream.

I can't wait to see how you will use these hues!

I am so glad you could spend a few minutes of your day with me, thanks so much for your visit.

 Be yourself

          Have delight in your craft

               Make something beautiful!

INKS used: WPlus9 - Hayride, Queen Bee, Wild Mango. Distress Oxide - Abandoned Coral. Accents - Colored pencils, white gel pen.
