Joyful Day

Hello, it's a new day! Mine has begun very early since I could not sleep. I'll bet you can guess what I did in the pre-dawn wakening. I made a card!

The background panel was ready-to-go already made with a stencil, it's from Waffle Flower Puffy Squares stencil. The boots are by Penny Black (as is the sentiment) and the flowers are bits and bobs from a few places. Figuring out what to fill the boots with and how to arrange it was the hardest part of the card! I added some shading with Copics to the boots.

It will be just in time to share at The Paper Players which ends today.

Their challenge is a theme of spring showers which I really wanted to join since I've had this boot die on my desk for at least a month. It was bought last year and I am glad to use it for the first time now. I will head on over to share this at NBUS as well. I hope you can make it a great day, and take care. It's Time for Tic-Tac-Toe!

It's time for a Tic Tac Toe Challenge, I'm glad to be here to share with you today.

I'm posting a slimline card filled with kites. I love flying kites at the beach!

Our board offers some fun options for your creativity. I chose the left vertical column: Slimline, Pastel colors and Encouraging Sentiment.

The kites really needed the slimline size to soar! The panel was embossed and color added with stencils. Inking with pastels gives a dreamy look. I left the blue sky and sunshine for you to imagine and added sequins instead to this already busy scene.

Just a personal note - I'm following up some busy days with some recovery time from bronchitis. If I don't even feel like stamping, then I must be pretty sick, lol! This will pass. Soon, I hope!
