Sweetness overload from an oldie but goodie! Must be the sweet goodies I have on my mind posting cupcakes and now a cake, Ha! Better to make them with ink instead of eating them, right?
This card features the Take the Cake dies, stamps and stencils from The Greetery. I'm not sure if it's still available but I'm glad I've delved in to ink it up with lots of color on the florals and texture for the icing. Icing is always my favorite part of cake!

Making it's way to The Flower Challenge. Hoping that lavender is an OK purple.
Oh, what a beautiful cake! Lavender, plum, purple, violet... I would think any of those qualify. Love the gold cake plate and the banner, and you know I'm always a fan of embossing. This will be a very happy birthday card for a lucky lady!

Your shades of purple are so pretty and it's probably a good thing that the cake isn't real or I'd be tempted to start eating it!!
