Stitched Summer Blooms

Welcome to my first post here on the new blog! I found that I really missed having a place to share my creations and I love having you come to visit! I've gotten in the habit of always having something to color on hand and these stitched roses that have been on my desk make an impact on today's card.

I'm playing along with this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.

I cut strips of white card stock for my design, and heat embossed the sentiment in white. My decision to use Coastal Cabana card stock for the base came after trying a few other colors because I was going for a clean, crisp look but unfortunately, the photo doesn't capture that.

Hope you have a great day!

I LOVE this card, especially the coloring. Did you use watercolor? Which ones? Or inks? I love Coastal Cabana too and have a stash of that color! Welcome back to YOUR blog! :-) LOL!

Hi Soozie,
So glad you like my card. In answer to your question, I did the coloring with the Zig Clean Color markers.
